TOHUM The Otizm Vakfı’s traditional New Year Shopping Festival was held this year with the theme “The Festival is Born from Kindness.” The festival, held at The Grand Tarabya to contribute to the integration of autistic children into society through intensive and continuous special education starting with early diagnosis, aimed to promote the Foundation’s work in this field and create awareness and resources.

On TOHUM December 3 World Disability Day, the Autism Foundation invites everyone to support the full and equal inclusion of people with autism in society through the “unifying power of kindness.” The Foundation, which has been working for 22 years to provide early diagnosis and education for autistic children, is raising awareness this year with the message “Kindness is not a barrier.”.

In our country, only 44 thousand of the 700 thousand children with autism in the education age can access qualified education. The new academic year is starting. While millions of students prepare to start their lessons, a large majority of autistic children still cannot take their seats in the classrooms.
