Tohum Autism Foundation’s “My Success Story” Public Service Announcement is Now Airing
In a public service announcement inspired by the real success story of a young person with autism—who received an early diagnosis, attended Tohum Autism Foundation School, learned to socialize, overcame obsessive behaviors, and adapted to everyday life—the message emphasizes that Tohum Autism Foundation has stood by children and youth with autism for over 20 years, raising awareness and advocating for access to quality education.
Founded in 2003 with the mission to lead early diagnosis and provide specialized education for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)—and to scale these efforts nationwide—Tohum Turkey Autism Early Diagnosis and Education Foundation continues to raise public awareness about autism through its work across the country.
Today, 1 in every 36 children worldwide is diagnosed with autism, and this number continues to rise each year. Autism is a developmental difference present from birth and typically recognized within the first three years of life. The public service film, launched during April – Autism Awareness Month, aims to draw attention to the importance of early diagnosis and quality education for children with autism and calls on the public to support their only proven solution: education, through donations.
Featuring Selin, the PSA showcases how the symptoms of autism can be managed and meaningful development achieved when children receive the right kind of intensive education. The campaign is created by Senfonico Advertising Agency, with production by Galaktik Film and direction by Mert Edis.
