TOHUM Autism Foundation reiterated its ‘Turn a Red Light on Autism’ call this year again to increase social awareness so that the needs of individuals with autism are better understood and they have equal rights with everyone alongside all their differences.
Emphasizing that children with autism still experience difficulties in accessing quality education, that individuals with autism are not accepted in workplaces, and that they have to struggle to be a part of social life and thus life itself, the Foundation invited everyone to turn a red light on autism on April 2, World Autism Awareness Day.
