TOHUM Autism Foundation Educational Institutions offer guidance services, educator training programs, a library and resource provision, scientific research conduction, educational model dissemination efforts, visitor days, and student-family support unit services.
Guidance Department Services
Our Guidance Department conducts assessments based on direct observation and family interviews in order to determine the general and educational development of children diagnosed with autism, those affected by the autism spectrum, or those indicated by psychiatrists as having special education needs.
In our unit, free services are provided to the families of individuals affected by autism and to individuals or institutions requesting information about autism. These services are offered in two main areas as assessment and information interviews:
It is carried out to determine the general and educational development processes of individuals diagnosed with autism or considered to be affected by autism / in the at-risk group. The results of these evaluations, conducted for children who are indicated to have special education needs in line with expert opinion, are shared in detail with their families.
Important Note: TOHUM Assessments conducted at the Autism Foundation Educational Institutions are educational in nature and do not provide a medical diagnosis. In our country, the only authorized specialists capable of diagnosing autism are child and adolescent psychiatrists and pediatric neurologists.
Our guidance unit also guides the scientific projects within our institution and provides data/process support to researchers when necessary. Information processes are carried out face-to-face, by phone, or via e-mail.
Educator Training Program
TOHUM Autism Foundation Educational Institutions provide training for their educators on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the PCDI curriculum regarding theoretical and on-the-job practical provides training. At the beginning of the academic year 5 days Through ongoing in-service training, knowledge and skills regarding professionalism and the use of ABA methods are acquired.
On-the-job practical training provided throughout the year is conducted by directors, coordinators, and formators. Directors and coordinators continue ABA classes throughout the year. The professionalism and competency of the training staff in using ABA methods are measured through assessments conducted twice a year, and for each educator individualized development plan created.
Library and Acquisitions
Our teaching staff and the families of our students can make use of the library resources by applying to our school assistant membership registration can create. After membership, books can be borrowed within the framework of library rules.

Educator Placement Protocols
TOHUM Autism Foundation Educational Institutions are carrying their expertise and scientifically based practices in the field of autism to an international dimension, providing cross-border support to families and educators in need of access to quality education through an Educator Training Protocol.
Within the scope of this model, educators who will provide services in the local language receive theoretical and practical training within our institution through an intensive program on evidence-based practices and curriculum management. In order to maintain the quality of the process, on-site inspections in the respective country and face-to-face training periods at our center in Istanbul are carried out at specific intervals.
In this system, where the child's educational needs and the educator's application skills are simultaneously monitored, the educational process is maintained uninterrupted through online consultation meetings held every 15 days.
Thanks to this approach, which ensures that scientifically grounded practices are implemented with a sustainable structure in different geographies, both the competency of local educators is brought up to world standards and the developmental monitoring of students is guaranteed at an international level.

Student and Family Support Unit
The purpose of the unit is; of our students and their families official, administrative, procedural and developmental to support their processes in order to provide a quality education and living experience at the school; and to maintain communication with the families of our graduated/departed students.
Support is provided to families and students on numerous matters, ranging from registration applications to placement in the appropriate unit, from the organization and control of the complete execution of scholarship and legislation processes, to bank transactions and contracts.
