Launched as part of the “For My Country” Project run by Koç Holding, the Belikdüzü Specialist Training Work Application Center ran during the 2013-2014 school year and comprised scientific educational methods designed to enable autistic individuals to gain work skills and to prepare them for a working life. The Tohum Autism Foundation School provided in-house training at the Beylikdüzü Special Training Work Application Center working under the aegis of the Ministry of Education.
After these in-house training programs were completed, the Foundation’s specialist teachers have provided supervision once a week during the 2013-2014 school year. The intention is that the Beylikdüzü Special Training Work Application Center will be a model school for the future. The project comprises scientific methods and will also comprise the creation of an appropriate syllabus and application subjects.
