Sortie, one of the most popular venues of the Bosphorus, opened its doors this year with a brand new concept under the name Bosphorus by Sortie. Bosphorus by Sortie, maintaining its socially sensitive and socially responsible stance, hosted its guests with a party organized for the benefit of Tohum Autism Foundation on Monday evening, May 24, 2010.
Mine Narin, Founding President of Tohum Autism Foundation, gave information about the works of Tohum Autism Foundation and shared information about the collaborations with the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Health. Many distinguished guests attended the night organized under the theme of “Love Me Unconditionally”, which is a call to understand the “special child” in front of you, to approach without prejudice and to love unconditionally. After a cartoon showing about the world of a child with autism, a very valuable work by the famous Turkish artist Burhan Doğançay, donated to the Tohum Autism Foundation, was offered for sale for the benefit of children with autism on the night, which was colored with interesting surprises. Another surprise of the night was that the famous photographer Nihat Odabaşı was taking pictures for the benefit of children with autism in the studio set up inside the venue.
