TOHUM Emotional End-of-Year Show from Autism Foundation Educational Institutions
The students, who prepared with great effort, made all the viewers proud
TOHUM Autism Foundation Educational Institutions concluded yet another term with great enthusiasm through their traditional Year-End Show on Friday, June 13, 2025.
Operating since 2003 and continuing its efforts to ensure that children with autism receive an early diagnosis and benefit from individually tailored educational programs, the TOHUM Autism Foundation Educational Institutions, founded by the TOHUM Autism Foundation, hosted this special event at their school campus in Şişli, bringing together students, parents, alumni, teachers, foundation staff, and all stakeholders dedicated to special education, resulting in unforgettable moments.
In the meticulously prepared event, which also featured a middle school transition ceremony for a student, groups consisting of the support education unit and school students met the audience on stage with dance, rhythm, piano, poetry, and song performances.
Stating that they were proud to meet at this meaningful event, TOHUM Autism Foundation General Manager Burçak Karakaya said: “Seeing the development of our students, who went through an intensive educational process throughout the year, and witnessing their success on stage is a great source of pride for us. This show is not just an end-of-year event; it is also proof that we believe in the potential of every individual and continue to work with hope, and all our students who take the stage are tangible examples of this belief and effort.”
The event was attended by Murat Mücahit Yentür, Director of National Education for Istanbul Province; Gülşen Özer, Deputy Director of National Education for the Province; Sevgi Yücel, Director of National Education for Şişli District; Mehmet Yıldız, Şişli District Directorate of National Education Special Education Branch Manager; and Aylin Sezgin, President of the TOHUM Autism Foundation, along with officials from the Istanbul Provincial and District National Education Directorates and the foundation's corporate supporters. The event concluded with enthusiastic moments as all students and educators came together on stage.
