During the Feast of the Sacrifice, where sharing and solidarity are experienced wholeheartedly, the TOHUM Autism Foundation has launched a donation campaign to provide educational opportunities for children with autism. Every donation made will contribute to an autistic child receiving quality education, participating in life, and taking a step toward an independent future.
Operating since 2003, the TOHUM Autism Foundation continues its efforts to ensure that children with autism receive early diagnoses and benefit from individually tailored education programs. This Eid al-Adha, every donation made will enable more children to receive an education.
Autism spectrum disorder is a neurodevelopmental difference that typically emerges in the early years of life. According to the most recent data shared by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2025, 1 in every 31 children aged 8 is diagnosed with autism. This rate reveals a striking increase compared to the ’1 in 36’ rate announced in 2023. The increase in the number of individuals with autism is related not only to advancements in diagnostic criteria, but also to greater awareness, early diagnosis screenings, and improved access to services.
The most effective solution for autism is early diagnosis and high-quality special education. For this reason, the TOHUM Autism Foundation—with the goal of providing every child with equal educational opportunities—is calling for support for its donation campaign during Eid al-Adha, a time when the spirit of sharing and solidarity is deeply felt.

For autistic children to access educational opportunities, visit the TOHUM Autism Foundation website www.tohumotizm.org.tr You can send your donation support from the “Holiday Donations” heading under the “Donate” section at the address, and you can celebrate your loved ones“ holiday by getting a ”Holiday Greeting Certificate“ from the ”Certificate Donations" section.
Although the TOHUM Autism Foundation does not perform proxy sacrificial slaughter, it accepts donations made by donors on the occasion of the Feast of the Sacrifice as sacrificial donations without slaughter.
