Tohum Turkey Autism Early Diagnosis and Education Foundation was established on April 15, 2003, as a non-profit health and education foundation that prioritizes public benefit. Its mission is to lead efforts for the early diagnosis of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), provide them with special education to help them become independent individuals in society, and ensure the nationwide dissemination of these efforts.

In Turkey, our vision is to ensure:

Our Mission
For children and young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), their families, as well as other children and young people with special needs in inclusive education settings, we strive to:
- Provide the necessary information and support to enable them to live in contemporary social conditions.
- Train educators and ensure the implementation of education and research.
- Increase capacity in the fields of special and inclusive education and related professions while addressing the shortage of specialists in Turkey.
- Support and improve nationwide health and education services.
- Develop and enhance vocational training, independent living, and social life opportunities.
- Advocate for better policies and legal regulations.
- Raise public awareness.
- Establish effective collaborations with public and private institutions in line with our objectives.
- Bring screening, detailed assessment, and diagnostic processes for ASD to world standards and expand them across the country.
- Develop capacity to ensure that children with ASD receive early, intensive special education and transition smoothly from the least restrictive learning environments to inclusive settings throughout all life stages.
- Implement the Princeton Child Development Institute (PCDI) programs in the education of children and young people with ASD, creating a model school and expanding these programs nationwide.
