The movement encourages viewing the individual traits and contributions of autistic individuals as a richness and advocates that cognitive diversity should be recognized as a biological value.\n      <\/p>\n      <p>\n        While the concept of neurodiversity was initially used primarily to refer to autism, its scope has expanded over time.
