{"id":8600,"date":"2026-05-12T00:35:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T22:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tohumotizm.org.tr\/?p=8600"},"modified":"2026-08-15T12:28:54","modified_gmt":"2026-08-15T10:28:54","slug":"savant-sendromu-nedir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tohumotizm.org.tr\/en\/savant-sendromu-nedir\/","title":{"rendered":"What is Savant Syndrome?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Savant Sendromu, ilk olarak Down Sendromunu da tan\u0131mlayan Dr. Langdon Down taraf\u0131ndan tan\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 1887 y\u0131l\u0131nda zihinsel yeteneklerinde \u00f6nemli bozukluklar oldu\u011fu halde, ola\u011fan\u00fcst\u00fc belle\u011fe sahip bireyleri tan\u0131mlamak i\u00e7in \u201cidiot savant\u201d terimini (d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck zekal\u0131 anlam\u0131na gelen idiot ve Frans\u0131zca\u2019dan bilmek\/bilge anlamlar\u0131na gelen savoir k\u00f6k\u00fcn\u00fc kullanarak) kullanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Uygun olmayan \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131 ve olumsuz vurgusu nedeniyle bu terim g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde kullan\u0131lmamakta olup yerine Savant Sendromu kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Ba\u015fka bir terim olarak \u2018Otistik Savant\u2019 da kullan\u0131lmakla beraber bu terim de yanl\u0131\u015f y\u00f6nlendirmeye a\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131r. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc otizm ile aralar\u0131nda g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir ili\u015fki olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen t\u00fcm savantlar otizmli de\u011fildir. Savant sendromu g\u00f6steren bireylerin yakla\u015f\u0131k %50\u2019si otizm pop\u00fclasyonundan gelmektedir. Di\u011fer %50\u2019sinin ise geli\u015fimsel yetersizlik pop\u00fclasyonundan ya da merkezi sinir sistemi bozuklu\u011fu olan bireylerden geldi\u011fi bilinmektedir. Otizm pop\u00fclasyonunun yakla\u015f\u0131k %10\u2019unda Savant sendromu g\u00f6r\u00fclmekte di\u011fer geli\u015fimsel yetersizlik kategorilerinin ise %1\u2019inden az\u0131nda g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Savant sendromunu anlayabilmek i\u00e7in otizmin ne oldu\u011funun da iyi d\u00fczeyde bilinmesi gerekir.<br><br>Otizm bir n\u00f6ro-geli\u015fimsel bozukluk olup kendini ba\u015fkalar\u0131yla sosyal etkile\u015fimde yetersizlik ve s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 ilgi ve tekrarlay\u0131c\u0131 davran\u0131\u015flarla g\u00f6stermektedir. Otizm bir ak\u0131l hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131 ya da ruhsal bozukluk de\u011fildir. Otizmin nedenleri tam olarak bilinmemekle birlikte genetik temelleri oldu\u011fu varsay\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Ancak, hen\u00fcz genetik mekanizmas\u0131 anla\u015f\u0131labilmi\u015f de\u011fildir. Erkek \u00e7ocuklar\u0131nda k\u0131z \u00e7ocuklar\u0131na g\u00f6re d\u00f6rt ya da be\u015f kat daha fazla g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Nedenleri tam olarak anla\u015f\u0131lamad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in hen\u00fcz etkili bir tedavi y\u00f6ntemi yoktur. Bilinen en etkili tedavi e\u011fitimdir. E\u011fitimde ama\u00e7 otizmin belirtilerini gidermek ve yetersizlik sergiledikleri alanlarda yeni ve olumlu davran\u0131\u015flar kazand\u0131rmakt\u0131r. Erken e\u011fitim otizmli bireylerde son derece \u00f6nemlidir. Nitelikli erken e\u011fitim uygulamalar\u0131nda uygulamal\u0131 davran\u0131\u015f analizi temelli uygulamalar y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclmektedir. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar, nitelikli erken e\u011fitim alan otizmli bireyler ya\u015famlar\u0131na minimum d\u00fczeyde destek ile devam edebildiklerini g\u00f6sterir niteliktedir.<br><br>Savant autistics are individuals used for those who exhibit quite unusual skills not displayed by other autistic individuals. There are very different forms of savant skills. The most commonly seen are mathematics and calculation skills, superior memory skills, artistic skills, and musical skills. Language skills, unusual sensory discrimination, and having a tremendous accumulation of knowledge on a subject such as statistics or computers are seen more rarely. Savant characteristics are frequently seen in calendar skills among autistic individuals (e.g., instantly giving the correct answer in that very second to the question of which day of the week January 15 fell on in any given year, etc.). At the same time, they are able to perform skills such as multiplication, division, and square root calculations mentally and very quickly. Regardless of which skill superior characteristics are exhibited in, these superior traits are usually seen in a single skill; they are rarely seen in multiple skills. It is not yet possible to diagnose savant syndrome before birth.<br><br>Savant syndrome can be either congenital or acquired. In other words, it is either present from birth and manifests in early childhood, or it can develop as a result of central nervous system damage or illness. It is 4 to 6 times more common in males than in females. At the same time, savant characteristics are considered within a spectrum. In other words, savant skills occur at different levels and impacts in individuals.
